The road to access the mudpools is treacherous so, overall, we did not think the experience was worth the journey and hassle it took to get there. The guide made the experience much more enjoyable as he was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the hot springs etc. The pools were a nice temperature, albeit a bit dirty. We did not receive massages but saw the rooms they are provided in as we walked from one pool to another and they left a lot to be desired.”
